NaSBAP and Cascadia Regional Green Building Council Announce Partnership in Sustainable Building Education
We are pleased to announce that as of March 2008, NaSBAP’s Sustainable Building Advisor course will be integrated into a suite of national educational services offered by the newly formed
- Workshops, lectures, and seminars to provide a general understanding of sustainability and the green building movement;
- NaSBAP’s Sustainable Building Advisor (SBA) course and certification exam; and
- Advanced training for practicing professionals, including the Living Building Challenge.
NaSBAP will continue to administer the national SBA course through regional providers and operate as a separate 501(c)3 non-profit entity, with the additional benefits of the SBA course becoming an integral element of the Academy. The Academy will offer SBA students and educators increased resources, learning opportunities, and networking capabilities within the national green building community.
